Easy stir fry dinner

I made this simple stir fry a few nights ago, and it was delicious! It's fairly healthy depending on your feelings about soy. I also ran out of brown rice, so we used white rice, but brown rice, or even quinoa would certainly make it much healthier. 


2 baby bak chois 
3 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of soy sauce (light sodium) 
1 medium grated carrot
1 medium onion
1 chili
Half a pound (one quarter kilo) of mince meat of choice 
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons of milk


1. Fry onion in wok
2. Add chili and garlic
3. Add carrot and bak choi 
4. In a separate bowl, mix together milk and corn starch and soy 
5. Add mixture to wok 
6. Done once vegetables are cooked to taste. Add salt and pepper to taste and cook rice or quinoa based on package instructions. 

It was very simple, and quite tasty. It's a nice, easy meal that can be cooked up quickly. Just what we need on a busy day!
