Christmas salad



Ingredients: 



  1. One large onion
  2. Two carrots (shredded) 
  3. Two tablespoon tomato paste
  4. One pound crab (half a kilo)
  5. One apple (peeled)
  6. Four pickles (sliced into rings) 
  7. Black olives (sliced into rings) 
  8. Three eggs
  9. Mayonnaise to taste 
  10. Cheese to taste (grated) 
  11. Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Pan fry onion (cut into very small pieces). Fry until translucent 
  2. Add shredded carrots, salt, and pepper
  3. Once those are cooked, add tomato paste and remove from fire
  4. Mix crab, apple, cheese, and a little bit of mayonnaise so that it becomes one solid mixture 
  5. Lay this out onto your serving tray in the form of a Christmas Tree 
  6. Cover with carrot mixture
  7. Grate two eggs and add a little bit of mayonnaise - mix these ingredients together
  8. Add egg mixture on top 
  9. Cover with pickles
  10. Add olives as ornaments
  11. Grate the egg white of the last egg on top (as snow) 
  12. Add a little bit of sea salt on top 
Done! 


Not the most healthy, but this is rather tasty. At first, I was skeptical of adding apple to a crab dish, but this is actually really good.
