What I Ate Wednesday - soups, stews, and fruit!

Hubby (and the Toddler) got me a new camera for Mother's Day. This means that after taking about 10,000 photos of my child, I moved on to the next best thing: food. So be prepared folks, here is some of What I Ate on Monday and Tuesday. I actually forgot to snap a full day of eats, thus the combination. I still don't know what over half of the functions on the camera do, and while the quality of photos around here should most definitely improve, it may take a little while before it becomes consistent. Without further rambling, here ya go a bunch of photos of my food: 

The only breakfast - a huge fruit salad. I was majorly craving some sweets and this most definitely satisfied that craving. It is actually sitting on a whole bunch of leafy greens and spinach. I cannot start my day without something green.

This was one of the first photos taken on the new camera! Oooi, look at the whiteness of that plate :/ Anyone want to teach me how to take proper food photos. The ones of my kid were much easier to shoot, but that's because he's super cute.

And yes, in case you are wondering, I most definitely ate the salad off of the cutting board. I also cut it on the cutting the board. It wasn't a plating thing/photography thing, it was simply an I'm lazy and want to save on dishes type of thing. 

As for desserts during the week? A few too many apples, some cherries, and yogurt once or twice. 

The yogurt was a paleo cheat for sure, and I'm not happy I did that. I felt pretty icky afterwards - bloated and had some digestive problems. So did the Toddler. The other paleo cheat was the stew because there are beans, corn, and chickpeas in it. That's really not a problem and not something that I ever intended to cut out. All of the other meals were definitely paleo friendly, which I am very happy about! 

As always, there are deviations from my meal plan. I seriously blame the camera though. On Monday, I obviously needed to cook up about four new recipes so that I could photograph them. On the brighter side of things, we have leftovers, and I actually do have about four recipes in my draft folder, waiting to be finished up and published! Actually, it's more like 44 drafts, but sshhh, we don't need to talk about how ridiculous that is. I really need to get cookin' so I can get those posts out!
