Indian Corn Number Cards

I've mentioned before that Mr. Toddler has really been enjoying his pre-math works! I've started experimenting to see how much he has picked up on since we started tot schooling and how many numbers he knows. I made up some fun Indian Corn counters to go along with our Thanksgiving/Fall theme lately. It also helps that Mr. Toddler absolutely loves munching on corn.

Indian corn counters

This activity was definitely a challenge for Mr. Toddler, and I had to do the majority of the 'work'. Nonetheless, it was a fun way to see what he had picked up on (a few numbers), and to practice counting!

For presentation, I only placed 3 cards at a time into our tray, and three manipulatives to place on the correct answer. For older kids, you wouldn't really need to do that, but my son is only 25 months old. The amount of time we spend on these more difficult works, really is very short.
