Christmas Tree Printables

Today, I am really excited to share some very simple, educational Christmas activities for kids! Since the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving and all Thanksgiving related activities on our shelves, I seem to have gotten off track in terms our tot school activities and organisation.

Last week, I really struggled to sit down, get organised, and make a bunch of printables for our shelves for this month. I'm really pleased to have gotten that accomplished, and am now focusing on the more themed activities for our shelves, such as our upcoming arctic themed printables, our Saint Nicholas Day activities, and more!

For now, here is a look at a fun activity that has already made it to our shelves! A fun Christmas tree and ornament matching work!

Christmas activities for kids

These Christmas tree printables are a great way to present a fun, holiday themed activity for kids with an educational spin on it! Plus they are very versatile!

You can use the pre-made ornaments included in the printable pack and ask your child to match them to the tree!

Alternatively, you can use the blank tree and dot markers for younger toddlers. Or use dot stickers to create your own matching activity!

The fun thing about these printables are that they are so versatile! Here is a list of all of the ways I have thought to use them with my son:

  • Use the printables pack
  • Ask child to cover all of a particular number, letter, or colour with a manipulative
  • Use white dot stickers and write the corresponding numbers/letters on there and ask child to match (so you don't need to cut out circles with scissors)
  • Use with a dot marker. Ask child to stamp all of the 1s, 2s, etc.
  • Make a construction paper tree, and use dot stickers to recreate this idea and save on ink!
  • Whatever creative idea you come up with!
