Paleo Meal Plan

So Whole 30? I'm putting a pause to that. This last week has been beyond hectic. Between my grandparents leaving (sad), the house, along with the ongoing loads of health problems we've discovered amongst loved ones (2 folks have cancer, 1 has Alzheimer all of which we learned about in the course of 2 weeks), we have a lot going on. I've gone between being starving, wanting to eat loads of cake to eating one meal a day. Needless to say, last week, I didn't really stick to my meal plan. 

Instead of Whole 30 this week, I simply want to get back to eating normal portions three times a day with minimal snacking. Really, a lot of our normal food days are Whole 30 compliant so that's not that big of a switch in our diets. Really, if I bake some sweet potato fries, or indulge in a glass of wine, I'm not going to mind. 

Maybe I'll give Whole 30 another go in March after things have calmed down a bit. For now, our meals are staying simple, delicious, and ... paleo of course!

Healthy Meal Plan 


Dinners



Whole, roasted chicken (obsessed) 
Potato soup 
Beef stroganof (paleo) 
Stampot - Mashed potatoes loaded with greens and a protein such as sausages or pork chops that are in the freezer
Someone else cooks
Eating out (Sister in law's birthday) 
Empty out the fridge/leftovers night


Breakfasts and lunches


Chia pudding (love it! recipe coming soon!)

Eggs, omelettes, scrambled, egg muffins (easy stuff)

Leftover soup 
Leftover chicken used in a breakfast hash with sweet potatoes or butternut squash
Carrot latkes
