Letter I Book Recommendations

Today's installment of the Letter of the Week is all about books! We are continuing with letter I today. I was actually planning on sharing our hands on letter I activities today, but the kiddo has been so sick last week that we still haven't done very many of them. Boo.

And then he got me sick. Because mom's are meant for being coughed on, sneezed on and other things. Unfortunate for getting stuff done.

In happier news for me, but completely irrelevant to Letter of the Week - my mom is visiting! Which means again that it's harder to get stuff done, but also means that my freezer is being filled with all sorts of amazing Russian goodness. We're cooking. A lot. As in everyday and it is glorious. Just sayin'. Russian moms are the best.

Anyhow, back to letter of the week! Today is all about books, books, and more books! Books are a fabulous way to enhance learning. Of course, they are also relevant to the whole idea behind Letter of the Week as we are trying to teach our little ones phonetic sounds to be able to read themselves.

There is such a large variety of books out there. The recommendations I include here are based on books that tie into the themes covered in this week's printable pack, as well as a few just for fun. There's bound to be several that your little one will love, too!
