Space themed activities

I'm so excited to finally get on with showing what was on our space themed shelves! It's taken us quite a while to work through them, but these were so much fun and so educational, too! Y was so excited to learn about the planets, their names, and their order. The images of space included on the printables really grabbed his attention and he explored them for quite a while.

Here's what we worked on:

Letter of the Week: Letter O Printables

Welcome back to another Letter of the Week post! Today, I am sharing our Letter O printables! We're keeping this unit hands on and the printables simple this week.

I'm really excited to be getting back on track with our Letter of the Week series and get organised again! These past few months have been so chaotic and I've had to keep a few secrets from you guys. Maaaaan, I'm terrible at keeping exciting news to myself and really can't wait to share. Hopefully in two weeks, I should finally be able to spill the beans on two huge 'things'. Okay, okay, for now, there's Letter of the Week. Be sure to scroll down below to download your own free set of Letter O printables!

As always, be sure to visit Mumma Diaries to see all of the fantastic hands on activities and printables Amruta is sharing for Letter O!

Books about space for kids

Y has been loving our space theme! The kiddo has asked me for more and more activities to go up on the shelves for this theme and we've dragged it out over 2 weeks!

I have to admit, I'm a sucker for a good theme and this space one definitely 'hit the spot' for both of us! I was so excited to see Y fascinated with images of the moon, our craters experiments, and counting asteroids with sandpaper numbers.

This really was such a fun and educational unit! To enhance the learning, I like to get books from the library that fit with our themed units. Here are our recommendations for our space theme!

Psst! Be sure to stop by next week to checkout the exact works we did and the hands on learning activities Y loved!

FREE Letter N printables

Welcome back to Letter of the Week! I'm so glad to finally be back to blogging and especially this series after taking a bit of a sporadic break. A lot has been going on and then we all came down with the flu. It was quite a rough couple weeks before everyone was back to feeling relatively normal.

I'm so glad the weather is warming up so hopefully we can put all these nasty bugs and colds behind us! With both Y and Mama feeling ill, we spent a lot of the time these past few weeks cuddling and watching netflix while sipping tea. Quite uneventful and of course, no new activities made it to our shelves.

Last week, Y started asking for new ones, and I finally managed to get our space themed works finished and on the shelves! The little guy was so excited that the next morning, he asked if he could work at 6.00 in the morning. I'm so glad he loves to work and learn but that's so early!

Anyway, Letter of the Week, right?! Here's the free Letter N printable pack finally available below!
